Blake Lively ushered in the spring season single-handedly in a pastel rainbow dress at the New York premiere of Ryan Reynolds’ new Netflix movie, “The Adam Project.” Although it was technically Reynolds’ big night, Lively eclipsed her hubby in the colorful number, which was pulled from Atelier Versace’s Spring 2019 couture collection. Featuring a plunging neckline and a high leg slit, the dress combines stripes of light purple, blue, pink and green fabric intertwined with shiny beaded panels that are only visible up close. Meanwhile, Reynolds kept it classic in a gray striped suit and tie, allowing his wife to steal the show.
While her dress is eye-catching on its own, Lively didn’t skimp on the accessories. She brought back the layered bracelet trend of the 2010s by wearing several Lorraine Schwartz bracelets in varying styles on one wrist. Considering the jewelry designer to be one of her favorites, she also wore two different pairs of Lorraine Schwarz earrings: a set of dangling pear-shaped diamonds and a set of lavender discs surrounded by tiny diamonds. The actress completed her ethereal look with a pink Chanel handbag and light blue Gucci heels, and she layered a long denim jacket over her dress after leaving the premiere to battle the New York chill. Her mini moon manicure was the finishing touch.
Lively seems to be on a pastel kick lately, as she attended the Michael Kors show at New York Fashion Week last month in the designer’s powder blue separates. Scroll forward to see her with Reynolds looking stylish on the red carpet.
