Clara Industries Limited became the 357th company to be listed on the ESB SME platform on December 29, 2021. Clara Industries Limited has launched an initial public offering of 7,02,000 equity shares of Rs 10 each (“shares Participation ”) in cash at the price of Rs. 43 per Participating Share (the“ Offer Price ”), totaling Rs. 3.02 crore. The company successfully completed its public offering on December 21, 2021.

Clara Industries Limited is a Uttar Pradesh based company headquartered in Saharanpur. The company is engaged in providing flexible plastic packaging solutions to its customers, the company serves various industries covering FMCG, consumer products, hardware tools, hospitality, housekeeping, pharmaceuticals, clothing and hosiery, edible oil , salt and sugar. The company is known in the industry for manufacturing and supplying premium multilayer plastic bags and multilayer plastic rolls in India.

Gretex Corporate Services Limited, based in Mumbai, was the principal manager of Clara Industries Limited.

So far, 127 companies have migrated to the main board. The 356 companies listed on the SME platform BSE have raised Rs 3,782.3 crore in the market and the total market capitalization of 356 companies as of December 28, 2021 is Rs. 45,587.61 crore. ESB is the market leader in this segment with a market share of 61%.

SEBI had published detailed guidelines on May 18, 2010 for the launch of the SME platform / exchange. The ESB was the first stock exchange to obtain approval from the SEBI and to launch its SME platform on March 13, 2012.

The response since the launch of this platform by ESB has been very positive to date.
