THE PASTEL PAINTERS OF CAROLINE CTIÈRES PRESENT

GROUP ART EXHIBITION at theARTWORKSTM

WILMINGTON, NC – AUG 23, 2021 – The Coastal Carolina Pastel Painters (CCPP) group is pleased to announce a member painting exhibition to be held October 22 through November 21 at theArtWorksTM in Wilmington, North Carolina. Members will present new works illustrating a variety of pastel subjects and techniques. The opening will take place on October 22 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. beer and wine will be available at the Artworks cash bar and free snacks will also be provided. The gallery is located at 200 Willard Street, Wilmington, NC 28401 and is open Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays from 11 p.m. to 5 p.m. and Sundays from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m.

The Coastal Carolina Pastel Painters are a branch of the Pastel Society of North Carolina and were formed in 2020 by local artists from the Coastal North Carolina region. “Our members run the gamut from beginners to iconic PSA members. This group exhibition showcases a selection of works by established and emerging artists who share a passion for using pastel as a medium of artistic expression,” said declared Carol Yaquinto, member.

About theArtWorksTM, which includes an Art Village with over 50 working studios, as an international art destination, provides a creative environment for artists, educational opportunities and enhances community through art. The 7,000 square foot gallery provides a place for artists to show their work, the community the opportunity to admire and purchase artwork, and a place to host private events. Meeting rooms and a classroom are also available to artists and the community.
