Forget about playing with dolls or building sandcastles, at just seven years old, North West creates oil paintings so good fans mistakenly thought they were fake.
But the schoolgirl’s transformation into “my little artist North,” as her mother calls her, did not come without help – all thanks to the careful supervision of her famous parents Kim Kardashian and Kanye West.
Whatever the couple’s disagreements – it is generally believed that they are on the verge of divorce – they have always insisted on the best for their four children.
While some celebrity descendants are raised knowing that they will never have to work, KimYe seems determined to ensure that their children’s diverse talents are spotted and developed.
From the Japanese lessons of son Saint – he now knows how to count in the language – to the three-way violin lessons for North, all the interests of the Western offspring are seized and then nurtured.
North’s artistic skills were spotted early on by his parents, when Kanye entrusted him with decorating a Hermès bag for Kim’s first Mother’s Day.
In 2013, things were rosy between the lovebirds and Kanye sat down to help baby North paint a Hermes bag for his future wife.
With colorful spots and a bright orange handprint, the bag was adorable – despite fans noting Kim had never seen it again after her public debut in November 2014.
But while she might not be getting out of the bag much, Kim proudly spoke about it in her Instagram Story on Tuesday night, telling fans, “I just wanted to watch this masterpiece guys.
“This bag that North painted for me when she was not even a year old. What a beautiful masterpiece.
“I knew she would be such a great artist, didn’t I, North?”
Kim and Kanye gave their firstborn a varied exposure to the art, taking her to fashion shows in Paris, where she sat in the front row (screaming, but she was a toddler), to private trips to the Broad Museum in Los Angeles, to filling their homes with commissioned sculptures.
North attended her first fashion show for a Lol Surprise collaboration in 2018, having previously starred in a Fendi campaign alongside Kim and grandmother Kris Jenner.
Prior to the lockdown, North was still front row at Kanye’s Yeezy shows, where she made her solo rap debut in Paris in March of last year, or confidently dancing among the pros in her Sunday Service celebrations. .
And while her love for the stage is nurtured, her education receives just as much care.
North attends a private school near her Calabasas home, with Kim posting photos of her adorable checkered uniform.
And now it’s clear that she made the most of the lockdown, creating her viral mountain range artwork, which Kim showed off so proudly on Tuesday – an immediate trend on Twitter.
When fans scoffed at the idea that North had originated such a talented job, the mom bear side of Kim, 40, emerged.
She exclaimed, “How dare you see kids doing great things and then trying to accuse them of NOT being great!?!?! ‘
“Please stop embarrassing yourself with negativity and allow every child to be BIG !!! THE NORTHWEST PAINTED THIS PERIOTDDDDDABCDEFGZFDT !!!!!!!”
Others have come to his defense, including Tracy Romulus, who has worked with Kim and Kanye for many years and is the mother of North’s BFF Ryan.
Sharing a photo of Ryan, created during the same art class led by Celeste Astor Frederickson, Tracy explained, “The two girls are in art class together and learning oil painting techniques from an instructor.
“They spend weeks at a time on one board and are incredibly proud of themselves once they complete a project.”
Writing on her Instagram story, Tracy said North and Ryan are on a schedule, but added, “The works are original, from a blank canvas and each child’s interpretation.”

And Kim’s best friend, Tracy, had a message for those who doubt North’s talents.
“It’s people like you who have children [sic] to dream big or reach their full potential, ”she concluded her note.
With all the money and success they’ve found, some might wonder why KImYe is so focused on education.
But they only have to look to Kim and Kanye themselves to understand.
Despite his huge success in the music business, Kanye was always open about his lack of musical education, once saying, “I’m not a real musician! I can’t play the piano.”
And then there’s Kim, who has a worldwide fame and her own successful businesses.
Despite this, she dreams of being a lawyer and spends her time studying to pass the bar.
It seems they hope that their children will never regret a gap in their own education.
