MG Motor Monday has become the first automaker in the country to announce its vision for MGverse, a Metaverse platform, which will deliver an immersive experience to its customers and stakeholders across multiple arenas.

Gaurav Gupta, Chief Commercial Officer of MG Motor India, said MGverse will act as a universe combining multiple virtual spaces into one platform. With this, the brand aims to bring MG fans, customers, partners and employees together to work, play, engage, collaborate, co-create, socialize and shop.

“MGverse is a step forward where users can interact with visualized data, just like in the real world. At MG, we strive to provide our customers with immersive experiences at every touchpoint. MGverse is our vision for creating our Metaverse, in which we and our partners will constantly explore, innovate, improvise and develop new solutions to constantly improve the customer experience in the future,” said Gupta.

For customers to explore their creativity in the MGverse, the brand will offer five different experience centers. While the Explore & Creator’s Center will allow the user to customize, accessorize and build their favorite MG vehicle in the Metaverse, take a virtual test drive in cities and streets of their preference and make reservations ; the NFT Gallery will allow users to view MG’s collections on display and allow them to collaborate and co-create, list and transact NFT on the platform.

With MG Car Club, members will have an additional way to connect, engage and celebrate unity through members-only events and concerts. They will also have the option to purchase MG products from MGverse. At Gaming Arena, the user will have the chance to experience the racing history of MG. One can choose his favorite circuit to race in a sportier MG or play other games. MG Knowledge Center will provide employees and partners with opportunities to develop and participate in virtual training sessions, conferences, meetings, etc.

The platform will be accessible on mobile as well as other web browsers to engage GenZ and GenAlpha. MG intends to offer similar experiences for VR (virtual reality) headsets, enabling a more engaging and realistic experience at home and in dealerships. The platform will be executed in phases, with the first phase being implemented during the upcoming holiday season.
