SAN FRANCISCO, March 24, 2022–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Miroculus, Inc., a developer of breakthrough tools for personal lab automation, today announced the official launch of Miro Canvas, a compact and easy-to-use digital microfluidics platform that enables automation on-demand applications of complex next-generation sequencing (NGS) sample preparation protocols.

The Miro Canvas platform offers clear advantages over expensive liquid handling systems that require long setup times to automate protocols and are not suitable for on-demand sequencing and manual preparation. With this platform, users can simplify, automate and miniaturize the preparation of complex NGS libraries, improve library consistency and eliminate the need for robotics. The automation enabled by the platform is well suited for labs that do not run a high volume of sequencing samples and want better control of sample processing.
