New duo show in Los Olivos features pastel landscapes

Los Olivos Gallery presents 2022 Blooms, a new duo exhibition, which opened in early October and is expected to remain on view until the end of the month. The exhibition features a collection of outdoor and studio paintings by local pastel artists Kris Buck and Deborah Breedon. Many pieces in the new exhibit depict landscapes based on local settings.


Both artists are longtime members of Gallery Los Olivos and iconic members of the Pastel Society of America, and have received various awards for their work over the years, according to press materials. Buck and Breedon are also frequent collaborators and often paint their respective outdoor pieces together. The pair of pastel artists previously presented their works side by side in the 2021 exhibition, Summer Bloom, at Los Olivos Gallery.
