Muscat: Today, OQ Group signed an agreement with “Youth Vision” to sponsor the OQ Innovation Platform initiative as part of OQ’s efforts to promote youth initiatives and innovation Omanis in scientific fields that aim to achieve sustainability. The initiative aims to establish an innovative curriculum containing educational materials for young Omanis that will equip national skills with the skills, technical know-how and leadership required to succeed in the modern technology market.

On behalf of OQ, the agreement was signed by Mariam Al Shibaniyah, Vice President of Human Resources, Technology and Work Culture at OQ and Mariyam Al Aamriyah, CEO of Youth Vision. Commenting on the occasion, Mariyam Al Shibaniyah said, “The OQ Innovation Platform falls under the social investment program and is based on supporting and growing in the fields of education, health and well-being. economic.

She noted that innovation and inventions is a sector that holds the attention of the government of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tariq – may Allah preserve and protect him – and OQ translates this interest with various authorities and companies to employ innovation in their fields of work. Keeping this in mind, OQ intends to involve Omani youth through Youth Vision in these projects to help build the added value of these projects and expand innovation to employ in needed areas. within the country.

She also added that through this agreement, OQ seeks to sponsor programs that contribute to the development of society and youth, believing in the importance of supporting such quality initiatives that contribute to further motivating Omani youth. She pointed out that this initiative will open up broader horizons for the Omanis by developing their capacities.
