Muscat – Energy giant Shell International will see its Production Universe (PU) software integrated into Oman-based iNNOVATEQ’s Nibras platform.

The union will ensure an easier, faster and improved workflow for asset management and production optimization. The partnership will start rolling from September in several countries around the world.

The partnership between the two companies was signed during a press conference at the InterContinental Muscat on Thursday.

Speaking about the integration with Shell International, Dr. Riyadh Moosa, CEO of iNNOVATEQ, said, “We look forward to enriching our offerings with this collaboration to help oilfield operators accelerate their digital transformations by offering PU on Nibras.

He added that Nibras was designed with LEAN methodologies, which have been used for over a decade in the management of wells, reservoirs and facilities in the oil and gas industry. “It’s an agile, customer-focused solution that enables the platform to modernize and automate day-to-day operations while proactively making decisions using data insights.”

Created in 2017, iNNOVATEQ (Innovation Technical Solutions) specializes in digital transformation and the development of IT solutions with several solutions and platforms to its credit, including Nibras for the oil and gas industry.

Nibras is currently used by 3,000 users in 17 technical and business disciplines to manage over 8,000 oil wells and over 11,000 surface facility equipment. Nibras delivers significant business value to its customers by reducing HSE risks and saving engineers and operators 40% time.

PU is a state-of-the-art software with real-time analysis application for well management in oil and gas production operations. It is currently deployed on a range of production assets operated by Shell, from deepwater to onshore.
